Frequently asked Questions

Window clings stick using static electricity instead of adhesive. That’s really the only difference. They can be used for similar purposes, but these are the better choice for surfaces you don’t want to leave behind sticky residue on. We have both custom window clings and custom window decals (including custom clear window decals) here at Printmoz.
Window clings can last 6 months to a year or longer in a perfect world. They won’t last quite as long outdoors because of the sun and weather.
No. Our clings are printed on durable vinyl designed so heat won’t take a toll. While extreme conditions may reduce longevity, they won’t melt or warp under normal sun exposure.
Our custom window clings work on both tinted and non-tinted windows as long as the surface is clean and smooth. Just keep in mind that dark tints may affect visibility of your design.
Wipe gently with a damp cloth to remove dust or fingerprints. Avoid harsh cleaners or rough scrubbing - these things can damage the ink or cling material.
These clings are designed for smooth, non-porous surfaces like glass, mirrors, or certain plastics. They won’t stick well to textured, painted, or porous materials like drywall or wood.
Start applying the cling from one side and smooth it across with a squeegee or credit card as you go. If you still see bubbles, lift that section and reapply while pressing them out.
Yes. As long as you store them flat and keep the backing clean, you can reuse them multiple times. Avoid folding or crumpling to extend their life.
The material itself is opaque white, so they are not see-through. We do have clear window cling options if you’re looking for something transparent though.
Clean the window surface, peel the cling from its backing, and press it flat starting from one edge. Smooth out any air bubbles as you go. It’s really that easy!
Use high-contrast colors and bold text for visibility. Keep design elements within the safe zone to avoid trimming. Make sure you include a cut line in your artwork file if you’re requesting a custom cut shape. You can also use our free online design tool for easy setup.
